IDAT London Trip

Overall was a pretty good trip, very informative and got a lot done.

Met up with Steve, Chelle and Kenny at 7.15am (too early) and caught the train up.
First of all went to the Tate Modern which as usual, wasn’t too good and spent most of the time waiting outside for everyone else.

Then went to the Lloyds Building and the Gherkin for photo opportunities and then off to Whitechapel Library for an MP3 audio tour which was pretty interesting having this woman guide you by a story on an MP3 and we ended up at Liverpool Street Station.

After that we walked to the Kinetica Museum in Spitalfield Market which was much better than the Tate considering the difference in popularity. Lots of really good installations there.

Later on we went to some bars and ended up at the specialmoves studio which I felt was the best part of the trip because it was really informative and relevant. Was really good talking to people who knew what they were talking about and knew where we are coming from as the guys there were on the same course as us.

Met up with Pete Harrison and Pete PJ and went for a shoot around Canary Wharf and got quite a lot of decent photos that I’ll upload later.

Went sleep far too late, woke up far too late, then went home in the 1st class section of the train :D Good two days, can’t wait to go up again for ATEI.
